Description

The itel Energy IHY-50KH3S is a commercial and industrial 50kW / 50kVA 3-phase hybrid inverter designed for large solar installations, factories, offices, hotels, hospitals, estates and other high-power applications. It supports up to 75kW of solar PV and high-voltage lithium batteries from 150–840V DC.

☀️ Solar Capacity

The inverter accepts up to 75kW of solar panels, giving it a 160% DC oversizing capability. With 4 MPPTs and 2 strings per MPPT, it is designed for large solar arrays.

For example:

• 100 × 620W panels = 62kW
• 120 × 620W panels = 74.4kW
• 125 × 620W panels = 77.5kW — this exceeds the stated 75kW PV input and therefore should not be used at full rated input without confirming the manufacturer’s configuration limits.

🔋 Compatible Battery System

The IHY-50KH3S uses high-voltage lithium batteries, not a conventional single 48V battery bank. It accepts 150–840V DC and supports up to 50kW battery charging/discharging power.

For the itel C&I system, the 16kWh / 51.2V 314Ah IPX-51314SPT battery can be configured in series to create a high-voltage battery bank. The current itel documentation gives configurations such as 12 batteries in series = 614.4V nominal and approximately 192kWh.
